3CX Users: What Features Do You Wish You Had?
3CX is great, but what happens when your call operations grow?
User 1:
We’ve been using 3CX for our business communication and it has worked really well for our day-to-day calling.
But as our call volume has increased, we’ve started looking for more advanced capabilities around call monitoring, reporting, caller ID management and agent performance.
Has anyone else experienced this with 3CX?
User 2:
Yes. We had a similar experience.
3CX gives you a solid foundation for managing business calls, but once you have multiple agents, queues and a higher call volume, you naturally start asking more questions.
For example:
- Which agents are handling the most calls?
- How many calls are being missed?
- What is happening with our queues?
- Which numbers are generating better answer rates?
- How can managers get useful insights without manually checking hundreds of call records?
User 1:
Exactly. The reporting and visibility part is what we were looking for.
What did you use to solve it?
User 2:
We came across VoIPSetu, which is designed to extend the capabilities of a 3CX phone system.
What caught our attention was that it focuses on areas such as AI Smart Reports, call monitoring, queue management, Dynamic Caller ID Management and Auto Dialer.
So instead of replacing the existing 3CX setup, it adds another layer of functionality around it.
User 3:
The AI Smart Reports sound interesting. How useful are they?
User 2:
The main advantage is turning call data into something that's easier for managers to understand and act on.
Instead of simply looking at call logs, teams can get more meaningful insights into call activity and agent performance.
For a sales or support team handling a large number of calls, that kind of visibility can save a lot of manual analysis.
User 1:
What about outbound calling?
Our sales team still spends quite a lot of time manually dialing numbers.
User 2:
That's another area where VoIPSetu can be useful.
It includes an Auto Dialer, which can help sales teams reduce repetitive manual dialing and make outbound calling more efficient.
There is also Dynamic Caller ID Management, which can be useful for businesses managing multiple outbound numbers.
User 3:
Interesting. So would you say VoIPSetu is basically replacing 3CX?
User 2:
No, that's not how I see it.
Think of 3CX as the core phone system, while VoIPSetu adds additional tools for call intelligence, monitoring, reporting and automation.
If you're already using 3CX and your requirements have grown beyond basic calling, it's worth exploring what additional capabilities you need.
User 1:
That makes sense.
I think the question for most 3CX users isn't really “Is 3CX good enough?”
It's more:
“What do we need to add as our communication operations become more complex?”
Has anyone here already used VoIPSetu with 3CX?
Which feature has been the most useful for you — AI Smart Reports, Auto Dialer, Caller ID Management, Queue Monitoring or something else?
